Overview
Born in Rotterdam on October 19, 1940, Sonja DuBois became a Holocaust child survivor when her parents were deported to Auschwitz in July 1942. She was raised by a Dutch foster family, first in Rotterdam, then in the United States, without fully being told about her biological family and true identity. Her lifelong search for understanding has led her to be a witness for the impact of the Holocaust.--Page 223
