Trust Changes Everything

The word trust can bring up many emotions in times when we have trusted and then have been disappointed because of failed expectations. Life's journey is full of highs and lows, with many peaks and valleys. I have found that who I put my trust in is the determining factor of how things turn out in the end. I have always believed the bible to be my roadmap in life, and it truly is. Within the holy pages of scripture, I have found who to put my trust in, who to rely on and who to wait upon with confident expectation. All of what we see is limited and yet there is a God who sees all, knows all, and only desires the best for each one of us. There have been times I decided God was taking too long. In some of those moments, I chose to take back my trust in God and put it in myself or others. Honestly, that never turns out good.
