Overview
'There are hard times ahead, but you can do this. Draw on each death, take on the strength it'll take to commit each act. Get stronger, Katya, we will need you. We will always need you. Without you, we are nothing.' Talya Iskralin believes she is rebalancing humanity. She seeks out those who have caused harm to others and takes revenge on their behalf. Like her sisters, she is a blended hybrid of pagan alchemical power and technology; Talya is the Elemental Goddess of Water. While taking these actions, she sets in motion consequences which will impact those she loves. Not only will her actions increase the potential for war, but she has put her family in peril. Fate had placed Alexander Tremblay in pursuit of Talya. The interwoven histories, and future possibilities, only enhance the intensity of the premonitions Talya experiences; her clairvoyance eroding her sense of self. Lacrymosa is the second of a pentology, a five-part series where each instalment introduces another layer, another element. A series where risk and consequence will alter reality. The series explores how the patriarchal society has impacted our world, the Anthropocene Age, and how women can bring balance. Each book contains action, fantasy, romance, sci-fi, and thriller themes. For up to date content warnings please check Ariadne Pautina's website.
