I am a singer, actor, and performer. Twenty-three years ago I survived a catastrophic car accident that nearly killed me. My life changed in an instant. I lost everything...my body betrayed me, I lost my home, my health, and my singing voice. If You Believe tells the story of my devastating loss, recovery, and redemption. I understand tragedy, how to cope with it, and how to become a better person because of it. Now, with this memoir, I want to inspire, uplift, and motivate others who have experienced disastrous events in their lives. I hope this book will help them heal and help those who love them to support them in their recovery. I want to remind others that if we just believe we can heal; anything is possible. As a singer, I have a soul-fulfilling story to tell thru lyric and melody. I was able to overcome my devastating injuries, heal myself-body and soul-and emerge a more enlightened individual. I know now what it means to be resilient-I know I can face anything and persevere-and so can you.
