Overview

A man, already old, whose intuition tells him that the deterioration of the atmosphere and the seas will collapse the biosphere, the set of ecosystems that sustain life, suffers by wanting to warn his society of the anger being born in the young generations for the falseness of the summits of the planet. His worries becomes a vital anguish when they make him see his own social limitations, originated in an undiagnosed Asperger's syndrome.Suddenly he is taken to a dizzying journey, which he undertakes in the company of his brother, another Asperger, to save his son from being kidnapped by ecoterrorists. A story of sudden love for a follower of Hecate, the three-headed goddess of earth and fertility, who is willing to do anything to protect the environment, is mixed with crazy discourses on physics and discussions about the Jungian universe, the Teilhardian conception and the Gaia hypothesis. 'The Ecological Manifesto' is Volume 1 of the story of the Roraima Group for Environmental Defense. The next volumes are 'Betty', 'Xiomara' and 'Zoraida', and are available on Amazon. Version 1 is from 2014. It tells events from Serge's travel diary, which took place between January 6, 2014 and August 26, 2015. . Version 2 is from 2018 and adds reflections and dialogues between the characters. More substance has been added to the story, so to speak, without altering the events or the original chronology. It could be said that version 1 is a telegraphic story, which gave rise to a skeleton. Now, it was given substance, flesh and skin to it.
