Overview
What happens when the people realize their government no longer represents them; when those citizens feel they have no control over their lives; when representatives that propose to rule over their countrymen are no longer constrained by the rule of law nor the Constitution they swore to uphold when they took office? Secession...The Birth of Texoma is the gripping story of a determined group of individuals to regain control of their lives, breaking away from the United States Empire and charting their own course as the nation of Texoma. William Keyford of the Oklahoma Sons of Liberty Militia finally gets his chance to begin his quest when he is introduced to Pete Davis of the Lone Star East Texas Militia at a sporting goods store in McKinney, Texas. The two strike up a friendship and together begin to forge the plan to secede. Secession...The Birth of Texoma chronicles the exciting journey from concept to secession referendum outcome. It discusses in some detail the type of government to be formed, the obstacles to be overcome, and the perils of overtly championing a move to secede from the most powerful country the world has ever seen.
