Overview
You Shall Be Blessed brings the story of William Rufus Rogers Stowell to life as it intertwines with many of the key Latter-day Saints of the early restoration. His contribution to the history of the church and the founding of the western frontier will intrigue readers of all backgrounds. From Nauvoo, to the trek west, and the Utah War, Stowell's key role in the history of the Saints was well known in his day, but fell into obscurity after his death due to the dynamic of his plural family, and the evolving cultures of the mainstream LDS Church. Ultimately, his story of perseverance, faith, and devotion will inspire his posterity as well as readers from many Mormon traditions.
