Overview
In 1981, Virginia (Ginny) Balchin attended a Creative Writing Workshop day. At the end of the day, delegates were given an hour to write a short poem about one aspect of their life. For Ginny, the poem "Conkers in the Kitchen" was the result. It was a reflection of the workload, frustrations and joys of family life with three young children.Over the years, other poems have been written. Some about family life; others reflecting her love of and interest in the deep meaning and significance of Christian life and especially the Christmas season.May you enjoy reading the poems and find them thought provoking.
