Overview

The life and Times of Joe I. Flynn is not just a biography, it is a heartfelt reflection of the reality of life's struggles. Joe's attitude of accepting life as it came to him, and his faith in God held his life together in the worst of times. He just kept working to move his life forward against all odds: poverty, alcoholism, failed stint in the U.S. Marine Corps, survival of a German U-boat attack in the Merchant Marines, and living with a debilitating disease- Parkinson's Disease. The remarkable thing is he always reached out to others in the same predicaments, never judging them, just trying to help. He didn't just talk about building a life of success and happiness, he did it! Joe's attitude towards life was remarkable. His success came from living life with integrity, respect, honesty, and a nature of giving back. He firmly believed. "The only one holding you back is yourself."
