12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.耶稣又对门徒说，所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么，为身体忧虑穿什么。12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.生命不在于饮食，身体不在于衣着。12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?你们想一想乌鸦，它既不种，也不收割，又没有仓，也没有库，上帝尚且养活它；你们比飞鸟岂不更贵重吗？12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?你们哪一个能用思虑使寿数多加一肘呢？12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?所以，这最小的事，你们尚且不能做，为什么还忧虑其余的事呢？12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.你想百合花怎么长起来，它也不劳作，也不纺线。然而我告诉你们，所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢。12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?你们这小信的人哪，野地的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神尚且给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢？12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.你们不要求吃什么，喝什么，也不要心里疑惑。12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用这些东西，你们的父是知道的。
