Overview
With Africa and other parts of the developing world becoming the new focus for Christianity, it comes as no surprise to hear this clarion call from a South African evangelist for us to win souls for Christ's kingdom. Written in clear, flowing prose, and full of easy to understand references to Bible stories from both the Old Testament and the New, Soul Winning exhorts Christians of all denominations, in every area of society, to spread the good news of Christ's salvation. Indeed, if we do not win souls for Christ, we should ask ourselves this question: are we truly the followers of Christ? With specific reference to Philip and his great work in harvesting souls after the persecution in Jerusalem, the author hints that hardship is a goad used by God to spur us on to do his work. We don't need to be perfectionists or have PhDs! 'And those who turn many to righteousness will shine like stars for ever.' Here is an inspirational work, one that is lively, accessible and full of humanity. It will surely lighten our darkness, and send us on our way to winning souls for Jesus. Josiah Motloung is a preacher of the word of God whose passion is to win souls for the Kingdom of God, and to encourage believers throughout the world to do the same for the glory of God.
