Overview
Catherine despairs of the other seven women who make up her book group. Although she is the newest member and had hoped she would fit right in by joining a group of women of the similar age and professional sphere as herself, it hadn't quite worked out like that. Their strong opinions and narrow-minded views on multi-culturalism are something Catherine has trouble skirting over. As Catherine struggles to find common ground, she starts to wonder if it's all worth it. Yet, even as she does, a series of unexpected events begins to unravel that may help her teach these women a thing or two about compassion and tolerance. Join Catherine in this remarkable story of how the smallest things can make the biggest impact. Peter Sagar is a teacher, writer and human rights activist from Newcastle-upon- Tyne.
