Overview
There is a critical problem concerning the deacons and the local church, State and National Conventions. The deacons are assuming leadership roles without being equipped for the task of leadership. The relationship between the pastor and deacon is widening because there is a misunderstanding concerning the mission of the church, pastoral leadership and the role of the deacons. This book is a tool to help those currently doing and preparing for the work of the deacon. - Dr. John H. Walker
