Overview
What started out as a sunny, afternoon horseback ride for Jessica and David, turned into the search for a young boy they spot in the distance. As they attempt to follow him, they end up in an ice-cold, winter field, thousands of miles and a hundred twenty years from Grandpa's farm. This second book in Dr. Carrie Wachsmann's series about Jessica and David is a time-traveling adventure that takes them to the village of Skrytyy, where wicked, foreign-language speaking strangers have cast a spell over an entire valley; all for the love of a hidden and priceless treasure. Through a series of events, brother and sister soon find themselves deeply involved in a plot to overcome the evil rulers and give Skrytyy back to the people. Who are those gigantic blue-eyed Snow Leopards? What will David and Jessica do when their lone candle burns out, and they find themselves lost in a pitch-black cave? Who will save them from a pack of vicious, mutant wolves? Will they survive the battle on the fields of Charis? Carrie Wachsmann is an award-winning writer and artist. With a Masters in Professional Writing and a Doctorate in Fine Arts and Media, Carrie has been exercising her gifts and encouraging others through her writing and art. Her previous book, Roadblocks to Hell, was a Kindle bestseller.
