Overview
At 46, Suzanne had everything she needed in life: an executive role at one of Australia's most iconic companies, she had just moved to the country with her husband Robert, and they had the next 10 years of their idyllic life together planned out. But when Robert lost his six-year battle to leukaemia in June 2019, Suzanne's world was turned upside down. From Corporate to Country is Suzanne's story of climbing the corporate ladder over 25 years, in a male-dominated industry, to losing her passion and making the decision to walk away to fulfil her dream of country life. Through sheer grit and determination, Suzanne tells the story of one woman's strength to throw away her heels and the executive pay packet to live the life of gumboots and fresh air, fulfilling the dream she and her husband had to build Coolabine Retreat. If you have ever questioned what your purpose in life is, but never had the courage to follow your dreams, then this is the book for you.
