Malcolm's Journal My parents did not drown. They were murdered. I was there and I saw what really happened. Agatha's twin brother, Malcolm, along with her mother and father, all drowned three years ago in a terrible flood at Two Rivers. So she was told. Now fifteen, Agatha finds out she will be married off to Santer, a slim cobra of a man, whose sole purpose is to take over Hawk Hill Manse and claim the land as his own.
