Overview
Doorways to the Unseen 2: 6 Tales of Terror and Suspense is a short horror story collection from author James Dermond. The stories take the reader around the world and through time, with each tale offering a glimpse into a supernatural episode. The synopsis from the book's back cover: "Have you ever wondered what was behind a closed door? When visiting someone's home for the first time or when in a building you had never previously entered? The seemingly ordinary ligneous entryway with its peeling paint in an old house might hold secrets at which one could barely guess... Doorways to the Unseen presents six short stories to the reader that touch worlds beyond their daily reality, entering places seldom experienced. Places that are just as real, but rarely visible. A secluded home shrouded in an almost impenetrable forest. A tropical island haunted by a strange cult. A sylvan statue with mesmerizing powers set in a wooded grotto. A peaceful place in the countryside, but with a hidden dweller in the dark. A ghostly vessel doomed to sail the expanse of the oceans forever. A writer's study with a portal into an author's infernal imagination. So, step inside and find that which has been hidden from you all along. Where the unknown and the unimaginable meet."
