A MEMOIR. Out of Sight/Out of Mind is the story of a man's struggles with the Alabama Justice System. It chronicles not only his fight to maintain his innocence and dignity, but also his coming to grips with his own shortcomings and failures, while trying to keep his sanity. A rollercoaster of emotions; fear, shame, anger, and hate, envelop the man as he confronts a corrupt and callous system that he never knew existed within his beloved home state. Out of Sight/Out of Mind peels back the layers of our Justice and Corrections systems and exposes the injustices and the sometimes inhumane oversights and vision of our elected and appointed authoritative figures.
