Shadowy Faces is the second book in the Evers and McFarlan Detective Series. Mystery, abduction & murder. In Shadowy Faces, Tish and Scotty are confronted with the lives of three young women which have been ruined. Each young woman deals with lost weekends where all they can recall are vague faces tormenting them. These shadowy faces become the focus of the investigation of Evers and McFarlan along with the Jamiesons and the Chicago Police. The team works methodically to discover what happened to each of the women to bring the criminals to justice. Tish must lean on a discipline her Grandmaster taught her, even with the warning, what could happen to her if anyone should learn of her new martial arts fighting technique.
