Abused, thrown into a dumpster, and left to die because of a wonky eye, Max, our pug, just wanted a forever home. When my wife, Diane, and I first met him, we weren't ready for another dog, but we sensed his desperation and decided to take him home. We soon discovered Max was a special creature.
