Overview
Finding Joy in the Journey is the story of my life as I lost both of my parents to different kinds of cancer in a span of 5 years by the time I turned 27. I became a mother to my first child two months after losing my mother. My parents raised me in a home full of love and most importantly a foundation of faith. I used song titles for each chapter to help the book flow that I listened to in the various seasons of my life. Life can be so very difficult, and the storms can keep coming even when we least expect it. God can bring joy in pain and loss. My hope is to reach someone who has also dealt with hard circumstances in life. We have a choice to choose joy every single day.
