A devastating range fire and hot summer winds take their toll on Tripel A Ranch. While the devastation is being delt with, in need of better grazing land the Armstrong brothers purchase more property to the north near Cheyanne Wells. With their scout, 'Coyote Woman', Retha, leading the way north, their quest is hampered by outlaws, rustlers, robbers and kidnappers. But the hombres' pursuer, former army scout and a Sioux native could have the situation under control allowing the Armstrong's travels to move forward.
