Overview
A cat named Beauford goes outside to play and decides to take a shortcut through his neighbor's yard instead of going the long way--but quickly regrets his decision when he encounters the neighbor's dog. The dog scares him into a puddle, causing him to become dirty, so dirty that all his own cleaning can't get his white fur clean. He's forced to go back home and take a bath. After getting all cleaned up by Grammy, he returns outside, this time opting to take the long way around to avoid another messy situation so he can enjoy his day outside.--Publisher.
