Overview
These pages contain a true story about a young girl named Pamela. In the midst of segregation, death, and a rapidly changing world, she was lonely, empty and trapped in a society that ostracized young women who became pregnant. She had no one who cared enough to encourage her, provide a positive outlook, or hope for a successful future. Without this hope, Pamela ended up in the Opa Locka check cashing gang in Miami, Florida. She was exposed to a life where she had the money her family desperately needed but this life included dangerous people, crimninal activity and drugs. This life took Pamela to prison and away from her children and family. When she thought she had lost everything, God, in His great mercy, restored it all!
