THE RED STAR AWAKENS Seventeen years ago a star was born. Hoshiko, a child spoken of in prophecy. If the Star Prophecy is right, Noble and Lyris' daughter Arial is the one who will single-handedly defeat a warlord; and bring freedom to the mythical planet of Caledonia. A distant world caught in a war for millennia. But the star is restless and resents her parent's efforts to keep her safe. She hates being forced to live and act like a normal human when she was born all-knowing. Her efforts to break the rules, manipulate everyone, and escape the confines of her secure life, tax her parents and siblings. After years of being ignored, the Academy and Ruling Council settle their crosshairs on the reinstated Head Elder and his family. As deathly accusations are leveled at Noble, desperate decisions are made that tear the family apart. Noble finds himself going on an adventure that he could have never imagined. A journey that will hopefully save his daughter, his home world, and fulfill prophecy.
