Overview

Victor Montenegro's mission seems simple enough - return to the haunted seabed where the sunken Ana Luisa fleet lies and raise a treasure. But triumphing over the ghost pirates and demons holding the fleet hostage and stopping more treasure hunters from dying may actually be the least of his worries. For Victor must also fight the darkness within to reclaim his soul and battle with the Devil's magician, whose quest is to become a greater illusionist than Victor himself and bind Valentina Santa Cruz's heart to him. Victor's greatest fear is not only that he will lose Valentina but her eyes will be opened to the truth about him. In the carousel of magic and dark creatures, it is a perpetual campaign for Victor to sustain the illusion of normalcy.
