Overview
Everybody loves getting letters. Well, usually. If it is a letter from the IRS or one with "Past Due" stamped on it-- not so much. But get one from Grandma or an old friend and there's real joy. In Philippians and Colossians, Paul is writing to friends. These are people he really knows, so the content is very personal, but still so very practical even to this day. "Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved." (Philippians 4:1 ESV) In both there is a rich mixture of theology and calls to action. After-all, good theology ought to motivate us to seek to be more like our savior. Since we often fail miserably, there is also the voice of grace throughout. These 18 sessions for Youth Group, Small Group or Sunday School will help your students grow in grace.
