Overview
The Cursed Mine is the third installment of The Asher Mason Adventure Series. Asher is growing up in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in rural northern New York State. The year is 1981, well before the internet and cell phones. Asher finds himself in the midst of tragedy and despair as he approaches his fifteenth birthday. After getting lost snowshoeing, he is rescued by the Miller family. This chance meeting launches him into a mission to save the Miller family farm. In his quest, a long-forgotten treasure map leads him to an infamous local mine deep in the woods of the Adirondacks. As his expedition grows ever more dangerous, Asher wonders if the mine really is cursed. You will laugh, cry, and bite your nails, but you will not guess the ending of this page-turner. A brilliant book that is suitable for every age.
