A historical novel covering the dangerous years from the end of the First World War (1918) through the year 2000 a.d. Hitler was a boy when World War I ended, and he harbored bitter thoughts about Germany being defeated. He made plans to conquer the world with Germany and his master race, and began working toward his goal during this period. Although he lacked a formal education, he wrote "Mein Kampt" while in prison about his suffering and his ambitious dreams for power. In 1928 he was elected fuehrer with his party, Hitler's National Socialist German Workers. He proceeded to develop the Natzi and SS Army who ruled the German people with an iron fist. He started his conquests in 1933 when they occupied Austria, eight years before the United Stated declared war in 1941, and it was officially a World War. The three oldest sons of Ada and Amos enlisted To fight in this war to end all wars, the twins in the Army Medical Corp and Dugar in the Navy. The first part of the book illustrates that men give Their greatest devotion to protect their country and loved ones' freedom, while women live more in devotion to their own family. The last chapters follow the growth of their children to adults. Life was complicated when mental illness in the form of bipolar syndrome was diagnosed in the oldest son. Three generations had one member in the same family with "bipolar" as it is hereditary.
