Situationships are defined by two people being in a situation that looks, feels, sounds (and the two act like they are in) a relationship...WITHOUT the official title and, quite consequently, without the commitment. Often one party wants more but the other party does not (they only want the benefits), so the aforementioned party settles for what they can get from the person they truly want, even if they are only getting hurt. "We walk into the sword just to feel the touch of the hand driving it through our heart." In his latest work, "Situationships," SaeLah delves into the phenomenon from a first-hand perspective, having been in a few himself as both the party who wanted more and who had no more to give. Through poetry and prose he attempts to convey the dangers of situationships and lead readers on the road to healing.
