The Olive Tree Verses is a collection of poetry and prose written between 2004 and 2017 about the different types of love a person can experience told from the view point of a man and father. It tells about the positivity to be found in mourning, falling in love again, depression and anxiety, compassion, empathy and life in general. The book is divided into seven chapters, each one telling of a different type of emotion related to love. It tells of sorrow and healing. The Olive Tree Verses invite the reader to come along on a journey of hope and rebirth. He hopes the poems on depression and anxiety can help other people dealing with the same mental health issues in their family and that, at the end of the day, hope never be lost.
