Overview
Some things are inevitable and this is one of them. Someone related to you in the future is going to make the trip to another planet. The reasons for going will vary from person to person and indeed from family to family. It will be about change propelled by hope for a new beginning and a better life. Millions of people have come to America with a bag full of hopes and a few possessions. In the future their descendants will leave the Earth with the same hopes and few possessions. They will venture out into the great unknown of space to make a home for themselves and their children not yet born. Many will find it easy to leave the familiarity of their comfortable surroundings and others will struggle with it. Some will fail in their quest while others will fail and learn to succeed just as those before them did. Those who make it will be thankful for the new lives they will make together and enjoy passing down what they have learned to others. There's no doubt about it. The universe will be a very interesting place to live in. Everyone who goes will consider themselves to be a pioneer of one sort or another. The risk taking and boldness to come will mirror that which has already happened on Earth.
