Alone and Abandoned, Maggi Li learned that at an early age she would have to stand on her own two feet, letting go of all inhibitions and be the girl with purpose and truth. It was the only way to gain her sanity and dismiss the expectations other people had of her. Learning about her self-worth and finding her place was essential to her survival. No one was going to take that away from her, no matter how much they all disapproved. She would overcome the stares, the glares and the misconceptions about her past beyond the violations of sexual and drug abuse of which, she endured for many years. One way or another, she would prove to be Victorious!
