Overview
Middle aged Cassidy Rowen approached the cabin door at Two Moons Lake, Montana. She was seeking her own Dharma, or truth. An older gentleman, Birch Rawlins, answered her knock. Birch, a retired forest ranger had unanswered questions of his own truth. Was his blood brother, Luna Crokken, the father of his wife's child? It was still ambiguous after 55 years. Cassidy immediately claimed Shirley Rae Rawlins was her natural mother. Birch and Luna had sealed their strong male bond in a blood clasp at age fourteen at Shawnee Lake, New Jersey. Kittatiney Correll was Birch's girl and Shirley Rae Derring was Luna's. Kitty and Shirley Rae were best friends but Shirley Rae secretly was in love with Birch Rawlins. Over a two week dialog with Cassidy writing down the stories told by Birch Rawlins the Dharma emerged.
