Overview
It is my pleasure to present the first edition of the book titled 'Inferential Statistics and Numerical Analysis'. The book provides an insight into elementary inferential statistical methodologies including probability and sampling techniques; with basic numerical procedures of equation solving and interpolation. The content elaborates statistical and numerical methods that are significantly useful in science and engineering undergraduate courses; engrossing basic concepts and applications of statistical techniques and numerical methods in scientific, research and industrial applications. With this first edition, I have strived to meet the expectations of the students by explaining the text and related theory right from the elementary level. With a substantial emphasis on conceptual knowledge, the book provides working methodologies with sufficient number of illustrative examples. Practicing students and budding scientists will find it pragmatic in research related application problems. Level of the book has been kept moderately rudimentary and plain sailed to provide its' readers with lucidity and perceptibility. An exuberant attempt has been made for the students to comprehend and develop an envision for the concepts exemplified.
