This special re-print edition of W.S. Taylor's book "The BobWhite Quail" is a short guide to BobWhite Quail. Written in 1916, this classic booklet contains the basics about the characteristics, habits, range andbehavior of the BobWhite Quail, a popular gamebird sought by hunters in its wild state, as well as popularly kept in aviaries for meat and for a hobby. Also included is "The Bobwhite, The GameBird of America" from the August 1883 edition of The Century Magazine which also details the BobWhite Quail as a game bird during the 19th century. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface.
