Overview
An adaptation of the gothic classic, resetting it in the Third Reich and capturing all the ambiguity of the original. Laura's isolated life as the daughter of an ex-patriot Englishman in Austria slowly shatters as the Nazis take power. But more than that, she meets a very lonely and mysterious house guest. Carmilla has secrets, not least her basic nature--but she seems to love Laura very much. What might that love entail?(9 characters, 5 women, 4 men) One set, approximately 75 minutes in length.
