Overview

This book is devoted to applications of singularity theory in mathematics and physics. The authors study bifurcation sets arising in the theory of dynamical systems and the theory of partial differential equations. All four authors are well-known specialists in singularity theory. They include numerous very recent research results as well as open problems and conjectures. The book is written for researchers and graduate students in mathematics and physics who use singularity theory.
