Overview
The extraordinary advancements recently achieved in materials science mostly derive from the capability to combine/hybridize solids on different dimensional scales. Applying such concepts and further knowledge in the surface/interface field to the energy sector represents an indispensable priority. This paper aims to reveal to scholars involved in the energy research area the enormous potential that functional interface science in hybrid solid systems has for energy transduction.
