Life in the Seven Kingdoms is never dull . . . --Jen McConnel, SCHOOL LIBRARY JOURNAL For ages 9 to 12. Whether it's speaking up at a feast, reading a map, or taking a test in a strange kingdom, Seven Kingdoms Fairy Tales are about finding more magic in life. Bean there. Done that. Eleven-year-old Prince William--a.k.a. the comic strip artist known as "Jack"--is facing charges of attempted giant-killing. The evidence against him? His newly published comic strip--about "knock-out flavor"--and his solo kitchen duty on the day Mr. Giant conked out on the restaurant patio. To solve the mystery of Mr. Giant's magical sleeping sickness, William needs some help from his friends in other parts of the Seven Kingdoms. But seven, suspicious, out-of-town giants are blocking the castle exits and won't let him out, no matter what he cooks up.
