Overview
Expand and share positive school management experiences that have shown good results in various states and municipalities across the country. Some good examples of interventions that could be replicated are: appointing school headmasters based on their performance and experience (rather than political appointments); paying bonuses to teachers and staff based on school performance; adapting state policies to specific local needs; sharing experiences and best practices; and highlighting the best performing schools. Brazil has huge challenges in getting its education system right.
