Overview
The convergence of renewable energies and economic growth is a crucial topic, explored both theoretically and practically. The first chapter lays the theoretical foundations, analyzing energy resources, renewable energies and economic growth mechanisms, revealing their close links. The second chapter focuses on Tunisia, where an exhaustive literature review and rigorous methodology demonstrate the impact of renewable energies on economic growth. The results demonstrate varied correlations between renewable energy consumption and GDP growth, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition. Despite complex trends and inverse relationships over the long term, the study highlights the need for coherent energy policies and incentives for a successful transition. Future research should further investigate causal mechanisms and regional variations, while assessing socio-economic impacts and proposing strategies for a sustainable energy transition in Tunisia.
