Overview
Haiku Junkie is a collection of haiku written over the past fifty years. This book revels in the everyday moments. Haiku is best done as one's moments unfold. In eight chapters the haiku cover the aspects of driving, friendship, love, especially with man's best friend, the ups and downs of everyday life including everyday wars. The short poems succinctly indulge our wonder and woe for all the seasons as they pass. Suprises await as the reader shares the awe or awkwardness, the love or revolutions that happen at arm's length or farther away and many vagaries of random shootings and other atrocities that become part of our ongoing adventure. This book is a celebration of life.
