This book asks the tough question that has been asked by humans since time began, "Does my suffering have a purpose?" Pastor Bryn MacPhail draws from Scripture and his ministry experience, to assert that all of our pain and suffering has been carefully measured out by a loving, all-wise, God. The book quotes extensively from the Bible to support this point of view. who has our ultimate good and His glory in view. While we do not court suffering, nor cherish its arrival, Pastor MacPhail insists that pain is one of the primary tools God uses to conform His people to the image of His Son. Purpose Pain teaches the reader about how to think about pain, live through suffering by teasing out special passages in the scripture that tells God's thoughts on what humans must bear.
