Welcome to a fascinating take on the dystopian world. For those readers who are fans of everything sci-fi, Threat to the System is just for you. Astrid, a girl raised to be more mature than her age, has her entire world turned upside down by monsters after they destroy her home. Now, are these monsters the ones with jagged teeth and red eyes, or are they the ones that look just like you and me? Astrid must fend off these malicious beings in order to find the breaking point between good and evil. She is taken to a military-style camp full of strangers where she makes a bold first impression. Up until she set foot in this new territory, the girl had no idea she was a part of something so much bigger. Her severe struggle will test the limits of both mind and body. The only mercy given to her is that of her newfound friends and . . . enemies?
