Overview
Who is the Judge, and who and what is He judging? The evidence is overwhelming. God is being ignored, even overruled, in every institution and walk of life. Man's audacious verdict is that God is unworthy of worship and obedience, and man's sentence is God's removal from society. Are there consequences to that action? Yes! God remains omnipotent, and in His own time, He will impose His righteous will on all humanity and on all creation. The inescapable truth is that every act of rebellion against the sovereign God will be judged and punished. If judgment undoubtedly awaits, it is critically important that we understand what it is. Building on the foundation of God's perfect justice and unmatched holiness, In God's Courtroom delivers a comprehensive, unvarnished look at why judgment is necessary, how God has exercised it throughout history, as well as what judgments are yet to come. Through it all, though, the focus is consistently drawn back to the hope we have in Jesus Christ and the unparalleled glory of God revealed as He judges. Not just for pastors and teachers, In God's Courtroom will sharpen your understanding of this critical yet often overlooked theological topic. Your day in court is coming. Make sure you're ready to face the Righteous Judge!
