[I Am] The Self-Initiated / The Self-Proclaimed Chosen

It is somewhat imaginative to think that the spiritual world could transcend into the real, and even worse, into the technological. However, in an era where we are increasingly dehumanized, and where the predictive model of algorithms, which determines what is most beneficial for us, becomes more common and effective, we are presented with this story written by the debut author Yehoshua Bin Nun.[I Am] The Self-Initiated / The Self-Proclaimed Chosen offers a fictional narrative about the life of the young Latin American Joshua Emanuel Torres Magdala, who breaks with all established archetypes and paradigms since the advent of written language. He does not follow the hero's journey nor that of the chosen one; he is not a prophet, and moreover, he is not instructed by any herald or teacher. He could be any of us, if only we decided to be "The One Who Has Understanding."One day, Joshua Emanuel Torres Magdala asks himself: Why not study Hebrew gematria? Why not uncover the mysteries of the Book of Revelation? Can the spiritual transcend into the technological, go beyond the physical, and migrate into virtual reality and artificial intelligence?Does free will exist? Or, as if we were characters whose fate is written, do we simply choose from a menu of various options previously set by superior, unknowable beings?Author Yehoshua Bin Nun presents us with a fantastic story, yet so real that, the next time we face a decision, no matter how simple, we will wonder if it is merely a pre-written script for us, in which, not being the stars, we cannot improvise, and worse still, change what the Aeterna Potestas has destined for us since time immemorial. As a supplement to this work, you will find an additional section with the translation of an alchemical text commented on by one of the characters in the book, as well as various notes-within a Kabbalistic, esoteric, and eschatological framework-from the students of Lord Joshua Emanuel Torres Magdala, where they break down the mysteries unveiled by our singular protagonist.
