Overview
The term "growing day by day with God's word" was chosen as the title of this book to illustrate the important role the knowledge of the word of God plays in the life of every human being from childhood to adulthood. In a world filled with confusion such as the one we live in, it is important for every family/household that has embraced the Christian faith to become intentional about teaching their growing children the word of God. This will give room for the Christian child to gain adequate knowledge on who Christ really is, what Christ has done for us, what He is doing and is prepared to do for us. It will also make the child grow into an adult that recites the word of God when confronted with challenges of life. The bible states the word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, which means that the word of God is that light that illuminates the way, and guides us through the right path as we journey through life.The author thereby took it upon himself, under the direction of his mother, to selectively pick out memory verses from the KJV version of the bible that will be easy for growing kids to familiarize themselves with, as they grow in the knowledge of the word of truth.
