Overview
HARVEST"THE WHEAT WAITS FOR THE HARVEST - SHE DOESN'T"by Thomas Hauser When entire villages begin surrendering their fear, their grief, and finally their lives to something that calls itself necessary, a young woman named Eleanor is sent to stop it. Armed only with a sickle and the ability to see what others cannot, she walks from town to town cutting down what grows wrong beneath belief. But the harvest adapts. What begins as a fight against possession becomes something far more dangerous: a war against certainty itself. As cult leaders, false saviors, and quieter, colder forces rise to replace what she destroys, Eleanor is forced to confront an impossible truth, saving people can be just as destructive as abandoning them. Set against a bleak, medieval world where religion, fear, and order collide, HARVEST is a dark psychological horror thriller about power, responsibility, and the terrifying cost of becoming necessary. Some evils hunger. Some erase. And some wait for permission. Perfect for readers who love folk-horror dread, slow-burn supernatural tension, possession/body-wrongness, and fearless revenge with a moral edge.
