Overview
SOME GIFTS CHANGE EVERYTHING-ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT CALL YOU HOME. After fifteen years on the mission field, Nora Shepherd returns to Cedar Falls exhausted, heartsick, and secretly afraid she no longer knows who she is outside her work. She expects a brief rest-nothing more. But when her hometown church asks her to lead the Christmas charity initiative, Nora finds herself thrust into a role she never wanted, paired with the one person she's least prepared to work with. Grant Calloway escaped Silicon Valley in search of meaning, not another project. Yet when the church needs help managing the Christmas outreach budget, he agrees-only to discover he's been teamed up with a fiery, world-traveled missionary who challenges everything he believes about generosity, calling, and compassion. Their philosophies clash instantly: Nora believes true giving requires personal presence; Grant believes the right system can solve anything. Snow falls. Lights glow. And as Christmas draws near, their uneasy partnership transforms into something deeper-something tender, hopeful, and terrifying. But Nora is planning to leave again. And Grant has no intention of losing the one woman who makes Cedar Falls feel like home. When a funding crisis threatens the entire Christmas program, Nora and Grant must confront their wounds, their fears, and the truth neither wants to face: that sometimes the hardest place to stay is exactly where God wants you. Set against a magical Colorado Christmas backdrop, THE CHRISTMAS COVENANT is a heartwarming contemporary Christian romance filled with faith, second chances, small-town charm, and the timeless miracle of incarnational love. Perfect for fans of Karen Kingsbury, Becky Wade, and Denise Hunter, this inspiring love story celebrates what happens when God uses ordinary people, in ordinary places, to change each other's lives. A Christmas romance about redemption, calling, community, and the costly, beautiful gift of showing up.
